IPTV plan terms: totals, duration and renewal

Use this glossary to read a package accurately. For the full decision process, follow the UK subscription buying checklist; for current offers, use Plans.

Full-period total

The amount displayed for the whole subscription duration, with its currency. Compare this amount before considering a monthly equivalent.

Monthly equivalent

The full total divided by the number of months. It helps compare periods, but does not establish that payment is collected each month.

Billing currency

The currency of the offer. Read GBP and EUR labels carefully. A currency symbol change is not a conversion, and your payment provider may apply separate charges.

Subscription duration

The period the offer covers. Check its start, expiry and renewal conditions rather than assuming that a twelve-month term renews automatically.

Simultaneous connections

The number of streams permitted at the same time under the specific offer. Several application installations do not automatically establish several concurrent streams.

Player licence

An application purchase or activation governed by its publisher. It may have separate costs and expiry conditions from content access. Read Players and subscriptions for the distinction.

Renewal

The process of extending access. Confirm whether it requires a new payment, what total applies and whether any payment is automatic. Keep the agreed conditions and use the renewal checklist when needed.
