IPTV buffering: checks before you change your setup
A pause in playback does not identify its cause. It can involve your home connection, wireless conditions, device, application or the service supplying the content. Change one thing at a time so the result tells you something useful.
Record the pattern first
Does the problem start immediately or after several minutes? Does it affect every item, one stream or a particular time of day? Note the device and player version. That short record helps distinguish a repeatable fault from a single interruption.
Compare the connection on the same device
Check whether another legitimate streaming app also pauses. If practical, compare a wired connection with the current Wi-Fi connection without changing the player at the same time. A speed test can add context, but one result is not a guarantee of continuous playback.
Look for competing network use
Large downloads and other active streams can share the same connection. Note what else is happening when playback pauses. If changing that activity helps, record the comparison rather than assuming a faster subscription package is the only answer.
Check the device and application
Use the official update process for the installed app and operating system. Avoid clearing app data or reinstalling until you know how to restore your authorised account setup. Changing several settings at once makes it harder to identify the cause.
Send a useful summary
Tell support the affected item, time, device, player and the comparisons you made. If other playback works, say so. Include an order reference where available, but remove passwords and private access links from screenshots.
Use the help centre for other symptoms or contact us with your summary.
